Passenger transportation road line is the foundation of development to passenger transportation enterprise. The purpose of this paper is to study the problem about the market opportunity evaluation of the passenger transportation road line, one of the most important aspects in the enterprise management of the road passenger transportation. With the development of road passenger transporta- tion market and passenger transport, the passenger transport rate also unceasingly increases, it brings about many market opportunity, and also puts forward a new request when the passenger transportation enterprise select route. At present, the research on the market opportunity evaluation of the passenger transportation road line almost is blank in our country, so this paper that research on the market opportunity evaluation of the passenger transportation road line has considerable practical significance.Firstly, the author analyzed the background, the meaning and present conditions of the route market opportunity evaluation of the road passenger transport enterprise. Then the author pointed out the problem and the place which need to improve in the surroundings of road passenger transportation market. Secondly, the paper mainly introduced the outline of the route market opportunity evaluation of the road passenger transport enterprise. The outline chiefly included the conception and content of the route market opportunity evaluation of the road passenger transport enterprise, and the steps of evaluation. Thirdly, the author mainly analyzed the role, the purpose, and principle, and methods of building the route market opportunity evaluation indicator system of the road passenger transport enterprise. And then the author built a new evaluation indicator system of the road line of the passenger transportation enterprise. Then, the paper studied the evaluation model of the route market opportunity of the road passenger transport enterprise. The evaluation model is an important content of evaluation, having the direct influence toward the evaluation result. According to the characteristic of the route market opportunity evaluation indicator system of the road passenger transport enterprise in our country, this part taked a fuzzy model to evaluate the opportunity. And when constructing the weight of the evaluation indicator, the author proposed a method of the distribution judgment to construct the weight. Finally, a road passenger transport enterprise in Wusheng of Sichuan province, as an example, is used to demonstrate the validity of the theories in the paper.The conclusion of this paper is that a road passenger transport enterprise needs to construct a set of scientific and reasonable indicator system and select proper method, when it evaluates some route market opportunity. Then the road passenger transport enterprise can grasp firmly market opportunity and select reasonable route.
