Judging from the breakdown of industrial development, Road Passenger Transport(RPT)is a traditional transport industry, in the integrated transportation system that plays afundamental role, and has been dominated by the absolute proportion in variety of transportcategory. In recent years, with the rapid economic development, population mobility scalecontinues to expand, the rural urbanization intensifies, PRT has been the cause of rapiddevelopment. But at the same time, as the country of macroscopical policy tilt, the roadtransport industry is facing the railway passenger transport, passenger transport, passengertransport and other transport modes competition. Within the road passenger transport industryis showing a "large, small, scattered, weak" excessive competition pattern, these are thedevelopment of road passenger transport enterprises facing changes and challenges facingnew opportunities.To cope with these changes, some domestic enterprises through mergers and acquisitionsintegration, resulting in such as the New Line, Jiangxi Long Transport, Liaoning Huyue,Anhui Feiyan, Hubei Jielong, Zhejiang Express, Guangdong Yueyun and many otherwell-known brands. Practice has proved, to mergers and acquisitions as a way to implementthe passenger enterprise scale, intensive, network management, to deal with the increasinglyintense internal and external competition is a more realistic path of development to theadvantage of scale, mature management mode. It can be said that the consolidation in theindustry is the inevitable result of the development of market economy. Foreign RPT followthe development of the law of the market, such as the American Greyhound Group.But enterprises on the road of intensive development, what are the specific way andthese options depend on which prerequisite? Pathway selection and risk control of howeffective the combination? Etc., are worthy of in-depth study of the subject. In addition,corporate mergers and acquisitions, and mergers and acquisitions will be faced with a seriesof risks, the post-merger performance there is greater uncertainty, the existence of thesefactors increase the unertainty of the intensive development of the Group. Corporatemanagement and strategy-makers said that the problem can not be avoided.In this paper, the actual situation of the decades GD adhere to the road of intensivedevelopment, in-depth discussed the basic conditions for transport enterprises of intensivedevelopment process and path selection problem. In order to comply with the law of historicaldevelopment and to seize the market opportunities for development, GD orderly and effectivestrategic layout of the passenger market resources in the province, to play Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao three passenger service network advantage, rapid development of enterpriseinternal and external resources integration, to create the advantage of network and brand.Based on the spirit of the principle of optimization of resources, GD actively promote thedevelopment of a new model of cooperation-integration-growth, through adopting a varietyof effective integration model: according to the actual project implementation of stockexchange, transfer, the establishment of the new company. Stage to obtain a good result,change “large, small, scattered, weak” excessive competition, enhance the competitivenessof enterprises.the main4points of this paperare:(1)The developing status analysis of Guang Dong RPT enterprises, which taking out theconclusion of the typical character of RPT enterprises:" large, small, scattered, weak ".(2)Discusiss the strategic developing chances elections.the conclusion is that integrationis the proper contacting method.(3)Based on SWOT methods, analysis the different chances and challenges in the wayof RPT enterprise integration developing.(4)Finally, give out a concret RPT enterprise integration developing case study.Because of transportation enterprises to implement change “large, small, scattered,weak " of the intensive development path choice may not be applicable to other enterprisedevelopment, therefore, the research on promotion application has some limitations.
