Research On The Eleventh Five-Year Plan For Economic Development In Suyu

Planning for regional economy is very important. The compilation of the regional development scheme is an indirect and useful way for the government to supervise the economic development. The eleventh five-year is crucial for the construction of Xiaokang Society. Moreover, the eleventh five-year plan is the first scheme for Suyu borough after its establishment. Under this back ground, we analyze the economic development of Suyu in recent years, and set up a forecasting model to describe the future in Suyu.From the point of the regional economics, we make use of the related economic theories to analyze the economic conditions of Suyu in the tenth five-year and to find out the problems in the economic development of Suyu. And then we make an analysis of international and domestic economic environment of Suyu and make out its stage of development. Further more, based on the guide thoughts and the strategies of Suyu economic development, we utilized the GM (1, 1) to forecast the major economic indices of Suyu in eleventh five-year. And to harmonize the relationship in the economy and environment, we used the IPAT equation to make out the environment burden indicator of the economic development period. Finally, we advance the constructive measures to promote the development in Suyu.This thesis is an important part of the eleventh five-year development plan in Suyu. This project has been verified by the local Congress in Jan, 2006 and has obtained favorable comments. Moreover, it has certain reference meanings to the similar area's economy development planning.
