Research On Pension System In China

China has made a lot of progression in the construction of pension system in thepast fifty years. But crisis appears as the coming of ageing of population and therising of a series of problems resulted from the reformation of economic system. Themajor challenge include: the lag of relevant legislation, the narrow cover of insurance,the inadequacy of fund, the chaos and inefficiency of fund management, and theincompleteness of pension system in rural areas. Confronting these challenges, thisarticle put forward several proposals to improve institution of insurance of the eldersin china, such as promoting research on legislation of pension, elevating legislationlevel, reinforcing the construction of the monetary legislation system and enacting thelaw of pension in rural areas, for the rights of aged people and finally for the economyand society.
