The freeway is the important infrastructure in our social economic system, which has deep influence on social economic development in the district,especially with the rapid development of freeway access district,freeway is gradually becoming the focus of theories field.This paper makes use of the knowledge of regional economics, rural economics, industry economics, geography economics and transportation economics,and takes the freeway—the structure of freeway access district—the town system of freeway access district as main line, then analyzes the formation machanism of the town system.This paper carries on analysis to the characteristic of freeway conveyance method first,pointing out that the freeway is the high division of labour of transportation industry, is the inevitable outcome that the economic integral whole turns,the especially together particular industry appearance adapts mutually, this makes the homologous industry distribute at freeway two sides under the certain mechanism, becoming freeway industry belt. This paper connects down a point to analyze the variety circumstance of industrial structure which is under the freeway funcion in the freeway access district the microcosmic foundation of freeway industry belt,the industry of freeway access district is mainly divided into directed industry, depended industry, related industry and derived industry, but the analysis of this paper to freeway access district industrial structure is divided into two kinds of circumstance:a kind of industry structure which is under single freeway, the other is under compound type, and the freeway access district is carried on a reseach respectively under two kinds of circumstances of the industrial structure.The variety of industrial structure in the freeway access district influences the variety of the town where the access placed directly. The access draws on the production factor from its surrounding towns with its geography advantage, and spreads the economic resources to the other towns under certain condition,thus, making the town the access placed and its surrounding towns become organic whole. This paper analyzes the formation and development of the access town system in three dimensions that is inside mechanism,outside mechanism and policy mechanism. The paper carries on further analytical to evolvement stage of the access town system,indicating that the access town system has experienced rudiment period, development period and maturity period,besides, each period expresses a dissimilarity of characteristics. Finally,the paper takes Guali town in Xiaoshan area as an example,analyzing the industrial structure and town system in the Guali under the effect of Hang Yong Freeway.
