Research On The Influence Of The Ecological Immigration On The Sustainable Development Of The Grassland Animal Husbandry

Nowadays the ecological environment issues in our country are getting moreand more serious, ecological environmental immigration has been paid more andmore attention to as a kind of measure dealing with the improvement of the localecological environment and the living standard of the local people. It has beennearly 10 years since the beginning of the Inner Mongolia EcologicalEnvironmental Immigration Project in 1990s.The purpose of the firstenvironmental project in 1998 was to reduce the population pressure to theecological environment of North Yinshan frail ecological environmental area withthe total investment of￥10 million, planning to immigrate a population of 15,000 people within three years. In recent years, due to the various contrived andnatural factors, the retrogression and desertification have been growing moreand more severe with the ecological environment getting worse and frequent sandstorm which have been threatening the ecological environment of the surroundingenvironment of Beijing and Tianjin. Under such background, Inner Mongoliabegan carry out a large-scale ecological immigration in 2001 and various projectssimilar to ecological immigration have been developed with different names butsimilar main common content of immigration.The author has been observed that in the ecological immigration in InnerMongolia Autonomous region, the local natives of herdsmen covers muchproportion. The carrying out of the projects has made the herdsmen unable tocontinue the inherited grassland stock raising for generations and have to makeliving by breed sheep in sheds and sheepfolds. However, grassland animalhusbandry is not only the most prominent way of making use of grassland, but alsothe way to protect Inner Mongolia grassland for centuries. The carrying out of theecological environment immigration project dissevers the close relations betweenthe various factors of grassland animal husbandry and will inevitably influence the sustainable development of the grassland animal husbandry. This thesis viewsproceed with the analysis of ecological environment immigration in Chiiregt ofSunid Right Banner, describes the various problems and issues these ecologicalimmigrants have met with in the aspect of life, production and psychologicalsituation after immigration and analysis the causes of them. Since the leadingorganizations concerned did not realize the real causes of the grasslandretrogression and desertification when carrying out the projects, there have beenwarp in the defining of the ecological immigration area and objects and thenecessary conditions of the sustainable development of the grassland animalhusbandry have been destroyed. Thus the grassland vegetation has not beenrecovered and the effect of the ecological environment immigration is far frombeing optimistic.
