The hulunbuir prairie is not only one of the most important animal husbandry production bases in our country, but also the most intact grassland landscape of our country tourism culture. It also constitutes the important ecological barriers with the northern forest. In order to protect the three north region and the capital nation Beijing from dust attack, it takes the role of biological barriers. In recent years, due to flood、drought such natural disasters occurrence, it makes grassland soil erosion seriously and desertification intensely, But the rapidly increasing of population and cattle of grassland aggravate prairie with heavy ecological carrying burden, also cause the ecological environment of the hulunbuir prairie suffering different degree of damages. At present, the deterioration area hulunbuir prairie is more than40%available area, and it expands with the rate of2%annually, at the same time, the hulunboir prairie desertification has serious narrowed seriously the life and development space of herdsmen, so that it makes the local herdsmen’s life difficult. Facing such of bad situation,We must study the actual situation deeply, so we can take the effective measures to alleviate or solve this problem. I take research about the actual conditions of pastoral areas with series of means such as face to face survey with local animal husbandry management department and nomads, telephone survey and distributing research reports.Investigation found that the nomads’enthusiasm of developing animal husbandry were aroused by the "build double contract" responsibility system implementation, consequently, It achieves historic transition from the nomadic animal husbandry to settled animal husbandry. Through years of development and the government issued positive support policies, the present situation of the pastoral areas and pastoral life are changed and improved. But in the research process, also found the hulunbuir prairie areas facing some problems, such as the pastoral areas overloaded problems. Farming and animal husbandry backward development problems and the income of nomads, etc, I put forward some Suggestions, based on the above problems, I also participated in supplementary feed to the local sleep in spring and took sample of sketches in this research, according to study,we leaned that the heavy snow of winter and spring covered the forage grass because of recent years’severe climate, it makes sleep die because of grass shortage, about this situation, the local nomads takes supplementary feed to ensure the sleep nutrition reaching demands. The purpose of this research is to let more people know about animal husbandry’s real situation of the hulunbuir prairie, and see the existing problem about ecological animal husbandry of the hulunbuir prairie, to make a foundation for agriculture subject——the north China grassland ecology animal husbandry breeding model. Throughout the development of the hulunbuir prairie history and current situation, if the local grassland animal husbandry is achieved sustainable development, it must base on the harmonious development of human and nature, carry out balance development of grassland、animals and human beings.
