Research On The Development Faced By Regional Agricultural Insurance In Shandong Province

Agricultural insurance is an important part of the risk protection system. After joining the WTO, agricultural insurance is actually the policy tools to support agriculture, or part of its social security policy. It is an important part of government policy to protect agriculture. Shandong Province is a big agricultural province. It has provided a good agricultural insurance policy environment. Region agricultural insurance in Shandong Province is the need of the development of the current situation. This paper is to explore how to build a harmonious society in urban and rural areas, guarantee regional agricultural production from the insurance perspective, and find a way for a regional agricultural insurance development that accord with the realistic conditions. Based on analysis of the theory of China's agricultural insurance and the practice of the development of region agricultural insurance in Shandong, this paper did some empirical research on problems faced by regional agricultural insurance, and gave some ideas and suggestions on how to build development model, management model, technical model that is suitable for Shandong regional agricultural insurance.This paper is divided into five parts.Part I mainly introduced the background of the study, the history and reality of the development of agricultural insurance ,and the purpose, meaning, content and methods of the study.Part II mainly expounded the necessity of the development of regional agricultural insurance in China and Shandong Province, put forward important role of the agricultural insurance to actualize Shandong's agricultural strategy of internationalization and the harmonious development of regional economy.Part III is a comprehensive analysis of the development of the regional agricultural insurance in Shandong Province, including three aspects, i.e., the analysis of agricultural production and disaster, analysis of the status quo of the development of agricultural the insurance industry, analysis of the problem of agricultural insurance development.Part IV and V mainly are some ideas for Shandong's regional agricultural insurance, and suggestions on the development model, management model, technical model.
