With the speedup of the world's liberalization of agricultural trade, the competition of agricultural marketing is bound to be exacerbated, the order of which will in turn pose an austere challenge. External-oriented Agricultural Economy(EAE) therefore tends to be a main stream for world agriculture. EAE is a gricultural pattern that develops agriculture by the orientation of international orregional market rather than domestic one, i.e. to optimize the allocation of agricultural resource by mean of demand, standard in the international market, and by the rule of comparatively competitive power, the domestic agriculture is developed to realize the intercommunion of resource between international and national market.In the paper, the possibility and necessity of EAE development in Nanping city is analyzed by methodological combination of comparative competition, typical investigation and integration of theories into practices. The results indicate EAE in Nanping has been focusing on goal of monetary-imported by agriculturalproduct exported. The factors that could have pivotal influences on the goal include the degree of agricultural industrialization, applied grade of agricultural technology, the guarantee system of food safety, the number and quality of the"Dragon-Cock"( Longtou) external-enterprises, the bulwark of world trade andso on. Among which, the degree of agricultural industrialization and the guarantee system of food safety have become peer factors for increasing the competition of Nanping's agricultural product in international market; while the techno logical bulwark of world trade becomes the first hamper for exporting expansion.Currently Nanping, as an agriculture dependent city, the development of EAE is naturally needed to promote its agricultural industry and to develop agriculture sustainably. To address the necessity, advantages, and difficulties and barriersfor EAE in Nanping, the present study focuses on locating its coordinates from agricultural development in reality, differentiating the direction from the pastachievements. Consequently, we figure out the strategies and countermeasures of EAE promotion in Nanping. There are: (1)to develop the characteristic products vigorously by fostering the "Dragon-Cock"( Longtou) external-enterprises stepped-up and setting up the production base for export product;(2) to main the food safety by consummate the guarantee system of food quality; (3)to promotethe technological level of external-oriented production by increasing the input for agricultural technology; (4)to expanding international marketing dimension by strengthening governmental support and reinforcing foreign investment; andatlast (5)to boost EAE by increasing the opening degree and pursuing positive while escaping negative in the international competition. |
