Reason Analysis And Solution Study On The Corporate Social Responsibility Deficiency In China

China's economy is experiencing high speed development for several successive years and China has become the third largest country in terms of foreign trade transactions. Foreign direct investment is also increasing to a great extend in the mean time.With the globalization of the international economics,multinational corporate act an important role in the world stage, their branches reach almost every area and every industry, which allows them to control the key parts of the supply chain, and also, they transfer what is beneficial to the running of their corporate. A new standardization called SA8000-Social Accountability is introduced to China by multinational corporate, for the reason of reducing the pressure of domestic government and consumers'counter-buy,and at the same time, they enclose the curtain of CSR in China.What's more important is Chinese domestic enterprises hand in an unsatisfactory paper. Some enterprises destroy the environments, overuse of energy and other natural resources, and some negligence of labors'right and hurt stakeholders'profit, small-scaled corporate even never heard the concept of CSR. That is to say CSR in China is very poor. So it is not strange that multinational corporate can make use of the orders to force our trade corporate to carry out CSR.However, the fact is multinational corporate is on the leader position with a lot of advantages over other corporate of the same industry, such as high technology, advanced management method and talented employees, and etc. It is advisable to believe that multinational corporate carry out CSR not only because they are under the pressure of domestic government and consumer, but they really benefit a lot from it in a long term. And it is reasonable for Chinese domestic enterprises to carry out CSR and make it a part of their management right now.The author's argument is that China should accept the concept of CSR, domestic corporate should carry out CSR positively and formulate a series of practical measures according to the conditions and characteristics of China by four theories and five examples of multinational corporate CSR. The article is comprised of three parts to discuss the argument apart from the preface:The first part forms up the theoretical background with economic theories and research results. The theories are corporate social responsibility theory, stakeholder theory, corporate sustainable development theory and supply-demand theory. They are used throughout the thesis.The second part is the description the affection of Chinese domestic enterprises act in CSR. The author describes the whole country's CSR deficiency, and special corporate CSR deficiency and its reason, specifically on the environment, on the employee's and other stakeholders'profit. In order to support the argument from the practical side, the author sets out some actual instances of multinational corporate acting CSR.The third part is to give suggestions. The author gives suggestions in two sides, especially pointing to the phenomenon of destroying the environments, hurting the employees'and stakeholders'profit. One is to the government. The government should accelerate the speed of setting the supplement of policies about the environment, the corporate, and etc, and enforces the role of monitoring the acts of corporate. At the same time catch importance to Non-government Organizations'effect to corporate'acts. The other is on the corporate'side, they should take CSR into account and pay attention to employees'and stakeholders'profit, and reduce the harm to environments and pollution.
