A lot of enterprises in China have realized the importance of ERPand are eager to promote enterprise management with ERP. However thefail rate of the implementation of ERP is very high because it is not longsince ERP are introduced into China. Many enterprises feel confusedabout how to implement ERP successfully. From the point view of theERP using enterprises, through studying an ERP implementation case,this article tries to find the reasons why the success rate is low based onproject management. The researches obey the guideline of "themory andmethod should come from practices and return into practices". Manystudying methods are adopted in the research such as systemclassification conclusion comparison. The purposes are try to find agood way to improve the effectiveness of ERP implementation and helpthe ERP using enterprises to find the best conjunction to link ERPsoftware and enterprise management.The article firstly introduces relevant theories of ERP and project management from the point view of ERP meaning ERP implementation methods the characteristics of projects and the project management contents, then introduces SG group and the background of SG ERP. After that, the article makes a research on ERP implementation of SG group according to project life cycle theory. The article builds an evaluation model on the success extent of ERP implementation. The threatness management is emphasied in the article by identifing the common threatness in ERP project building. The article emphasizes that the study of ERP project implementation shuld be based on the point view of ERP using enterprises.
