At present, it is the first primary thing for enterprises to think about how to keep high-quality staffs in enterprise and how to get more such staffs. what is more, enterprises should do their better to make their staffs get more technology and knowledge if business want to get competitive edge. One of the methods to solve such problems is training.Electric power enterprise is a product of plan-economy, so it is seldom for it to pay attention to competitive problem. Many businesses lack of such ideas as modern business management methods. However, withthe reform of electric power and entrying in WTO, many electric power businesses must concern about how to improve their competitive edge. In such a process, it is necessary for business to make the training of staffs play a important role.Based on these, we should think about which factors hamper the process of training, and which factors effect the efficiency of training.this paper first introduce some theories of training and the current situation of it, then analyze some problems of electric power businesses. Secondly, the article present some methods of how to evaluate training, and propose that it should use AHP to analyze. Focused on such method, author combine qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to find out the inside relationship between factors and get the weight to the objective. In the final, some advice are presented.
