Since Tyler puts forward the concept of"Science of Management"at the beginning of last century, it experienced a long period of development, and lots of subjects such as"Operation Management","Production Management","Finance Management"etc. appeared. However, till the end of 20th century, people then realized that management not only deals with the reachable things, such like raw material, capital and worker and the visible operation processes, such as producing, supply and selling, but also some kind of important invisible resources—knowledge. In this brand new era, the enterprises have to get growth by constant innovation and reform, not the low-paid workers that have poor knowledge. The key point to enterprises'survives and healthy development is to motivate knowledge workers effectively and build their commitment based on their characteristics.This paper summarizes the key features which the enterprises should keep in mind in managing the knowledge workers, also let the enterprises realize that their weakness in this field and the importance to make some improvement. This paper also gives some advice on motivation methods and core values adjustment in order to maximize the output of the knowledge workers under a certain level of investment to them, at the meantime, increasing their stability in the enterprise. Then the management team will make the operation more effective by the endeavor on HRM improvement.
