Domestic SMEs have been developing rapidly and playing more and more important in national economy since reform and opening. However, for some reason, lots of SMEs often get in troubles, in which human resources constraints is the most serious. In knowledge economy, creative and change and unpredictable intellectual work will be the main form of work, and existence and development of business depends on the possession, creation and use of knowledge. Therefore, it is very important to motivate owners of SMEs' intellectual capita--knowledge worker. After understanding of research status, although it is popular to do research on knowledge workers, few studies have been conducted on knowledge workers in environment of SME. Hence this paper selects knowledge workers in SMEs as objects and advances to build a comprehensive and dynamic circulation model based on knowledge workers'in SMEs demand gap, which can help improve their efficiency and strengthen their cohesion and competitiveness.This article depicts various motivation theories and defines knowledge workers and SME firstly, which provides a theoretical basis and ideological foundation to find the root of problem and solution. Then it analyzes main problems in motivating SMEs'knowledge workers in our country currently, which can provide basis for proposing motive strategies. Later elaborates knowledge workers'importance in SMEs and the risks of their turnover, and shows SMEs should motive knowledge workers. Under the guide of motivation theories and principle and referring to some researches, this thesis builds a comprehensive and dynamic circulation model based on knowledge workers'in SMEs demand gap and advances motivation strategies which contains salary, organization, work, and enterprise culture four parts.In process of writing this paper, it mainly uses three methods comprising literature consulting, comparative analysis and modeling analysis. Through literature, it gets some reference information and data; by comparing the domestic and foreign experts'research get some useful practice; and advancing suggestions according to dynamic circulation model.
