DSS Based On OLAP Analysis Model Of Multi-Dimensional DataBase

With the rapid development and application of computer networking and database, Information Management goes into a new Information Age. At the same time, the application is increasingly divided into two parts: On-Line transaction processing (OLTP) and On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP). OLTP is mainly used for the application service of an organization. The application is included in accounting and custom relationship management etc. OLAP is used for the decision supporting and analysis of the high level management. It is the future of Information technology. The application is included in decision-supporting system and Multi-Dimensional Analysis etc. This kind of analysis needs visiting a larger amount of history data, and we must extract data from a lot of OLAP database, and then the cleaned data will be load to a multi-dimensional database in a new type. The processing, to be mentioned above, is named Data WareHouse that is the core content of Business Intelligence (BI).As a new technology platform, BI is a combination of OLAP and traditional business tools, which can provide business performance management solution and decision supporting.The paper is mainly about the core content of BI, and the study shows the developing and the future of Data WareHouse, Data Mining, OLAP and DSS. The application of data analysis is about economy field model and data clustering, we can use the studying method mentioned in the paper and improve the decision speed and decision quality.Finally, the paper makes a prospect of the development of BI. BI production and solution will be intelligence and making decision is easier then before.
