The Study On The Evaluating Regional Tourism Employment Performance

China is a country with abundant human resource. With the development of the economy, the employment situation is more and more rigorous.Tourism plays an important role in social employment relied on its association with other industry, ability of driving employment, absorbcy and employment multiplicity. Because the macroscopical employment situation is rigorous and the tourism employment is focused, a scientific evaluation on regional tourism employment performance is very necessary. But the past research only used the amount index or other indexes to evaluate all the tourism employment performance. However, the tourism employment performance is various, so the single amount index is far away from crowning all and the further study on how to evaluate tourism employment performance is essential.Firstly, this thesis reviews briefly the employment theories and the past study on the evaluation indexes of tourism employment performance. Then it analyzes the conception of tourism employment performance, based on the past research, selects the following indexes, which are composed of the capacity, supporting disadvantaged group, cost and benefit, absorbency of the tourism economy system, and establishes a relatively comprehensive evaluating indexes on tourism employment performance. Under the basis of these indexes* this thesis evaluates the employment performance of China's regional tourism industry in 2002 through factor analysis, then comes to general and individual conclusions. At last, this thesis brings forward several suggestions for promoting employment by developing tourism industry according to the whole-length research.
