Research On China's Bancassurance Development

From 1970's all kinds of financial system innovations help banks, securities and insurance to integrate deeper and deeper, especially for the integration of banks and insurance, which develops into a new financial form—bancassurance.In the western countries, bancassurance has gone into the mature phase while in China it just begin to develop. Although bancassurance is undergoing a rapid development in China, we still need to learn more successful experience from western world. So this thesis attaches most parts to the successful theories and development modes in order to provide some useful suggestions to China's young bancassurance.The thesis first introduces the development history, causation, theories and mode selections of bancassurance in western countries. Then it analyzes the development environment and the obstacles that China's bancassurance faces. Through illustrating the existing cooperation of our banks and insurance companies, we come to know that special bancassurance company is the best mode to operate China's bancassurance in the present situation. In the end, the thesis also puts forward some countermeasures to develop our bancassurance according to the previous analysis.
