Emperical Research On Trade And Investment Integration In Yangtze Delta Area

Our country has already became the one which absorbs FDI most in developing countries for 4 years since 2002.The amount of foreign trade and investment has also been in front of the world.The time sequence data in 20 years of foreign capital, international trade, economic development and structure adjustment show the FDI and international trade play an important role in the open-door development process.The integration of trade and investment has became an evident characteristic in the progress of China integrating the international labor division.The integration of trade and investment behaves not only in the consistency and synchronization of them, but also in the coexistence and interactive development structure of them.As the largest developing country, China has acquired a quick development in the trade and investment recently.This article just pays attention to the consistency and degree of the integration of trade and investment in Yangtze River Delta.The dissertation talks about the origin and development of traditional trade and investment theories separately,then the diverge and the intergradation after the appearance of multinational company,finally the mergence trend of trade and investment.It emphasizes the gravitation model and its expanded research, which provides a very important theory support for the quantitative research behind. The dissertation summarizes the development present condition of trade and investment in Yangtze River Delta, and pays more attention to the qualitative and quantitative research on the scale, the geography district, the industry distribution of FDI and foreign trade, and the change of merchandise structure.This also supports certain foundation for quantitative research behind.The dissertation analyses the integration of trade and investment in Yangtze River Delta quantitatively by using of data in nearly ten years.It analyses the relativity between FDI and foreign trade in the scale,the structure and the district distribution in this area,then the machine and the equipments conveyance industry in Jiangsu province,finally predicts the integration trend of trade and investment in Yangtze River Delta and analyses the influences of Yangtze Delta economy by integration of trade and investment.Eventually, the author gives some policy suggestions combining the current condition in China and Yangtze River Delta.
