The dramatic increase in population together with the tremendous development of the industry have led to numerous wastes in the world, which has overburden the ecological environment and resulted in serious pollution. Meanwhile, there have already been a large lack of resources such as energy, water and ore etc, which are vital to the sustainable development of human being. Under this circumstance, the inappropriate disposals of a large number of End of Life (EOL) electronic products have been given full attention by many governments throughout the world.Appropriate disposals of EOL electronic products, therefore, can make improvements in both environment and energy efficiency. On the basis of this understanding, lots of governments have put this urgent issue on the agenda, and some of them, especially the Europe, the US, Austria and Holland, even have long taken measures to facilitate the harmless disposal of electronic products. At the same time, the enterprises have been coming to realize that they would benefit significantly from its efforts to overcome this problem, since their commitments to the environment would lead to good corporate image, customer sastisfaction, along with cost reduction. Some of them even have put the EOL products reverse logistics into practice. The implementation of reverse logistics of EOL electronic products, therefore, would definitely be the common area of interest for both the governments and enterpreises. So, it has become a significant task to do a research on how to find a reverse logistics mode which is efficient, cost-effective and suitable to a given company.Based on the findings of many experts and professionals, this thesis is to analyze the factors behind the reverse logistics performance based on EOL electronic products to build reverse logistics modes, and then to find out the factors affecting reverse logistics of EOL electronic products, and finally to set up a model that help the executives to make a wise decision on the reverse logistics based on the method of Analysis Network Process (ANP) by Thomas L. Saaty. An example is also provided to describe how this model is put into practice.
