Studies On Current Situation And Development Strategy Of Tea Industry In Shangyou County

In this thesis, the current situation and development strategy of tea industry in Shangyou county was system studied on the basis of analyzing the current situation and the problems in tea production in China. The results were below:The develop situation of tea industry in Shangyou county was analysised. The results showed that the total tea garden area and tea yield was continuance increased in the last 10 years. The increased rate was faster in the first 5 years (from 1995-1999) than the later 5 years (2000-2004). The proportion of tea industry in Shangyou county to Guanzhou city was obvious enlarged both in plant area and tea output.The change of tea plant area in the last 12 years of towns in Shangyou county was compared. The results show that 3 variable stages have been undergone in the variation tendency during which was the tea plat area increased fast (1993-1996), increased slowly (1997-2000) and sustain development (2001-2004). 5 clusters describe the spatial variation of the tea plant area according to the cluster analysis in 15 towns.Objective estimate on integrated benefit in tea industry development in Shangyou county showed that the proportion of tea industry in agriculture economy was enlarged by degrees and tea industry in Shangyou county has became the new increase point for economy evolution. Tea industry created the upstanding integrated benefit.In the last part, the main issues existing in Shangyou tea production and tea management was discussed. Measures for the future development of tea production might include: Further increasing the proportion of elite tea cultivar field. Actively developing green drinks of tea through establishment of ecological tea field without pollution nuisance. Putting the strategic thinking of famous brand tea and the best quality into practice so to raise the quality and economic benefit of tea. Accelerating the steps of mechanization of tea production and famous brand tea process to reduce the cost and save energy. Speeding up the tempo of integration of production and market to promote the development of Shangyou tea production. Carrying on active propaganda for famous brand tea and tea culture to promote the development of Shangyou tea economy through the development of tea culture. Vitalizing Shangyou tea economy depending upon the progress of science and technology.
