Research On The Current Situation And Strategy Of Pineapple Industry Development In Xuwen County Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

In the context of rural revitalization,by developing rural characteristic industries and promoting the integration of rural primary,secondary,and tertiary industries with the thinking of doing a good job in "local specialties",we can broaden the channels for farmers to increase income and become rich.Xuwen County has unique geographical and natural conditions,making it a suitable area for pineapple cultivation.Therefore,the pineapple industry has become a characteristic industry of Xuwen County.How to promote the high-quality development of the pineapple industry,deeply explore the diversified value of the pineapple industry,break through the bottleneck of the development of the pineapple industry,and better enhance its market competitiveness and risk resistance is a key link that urgently needs to be solved in the development process of the pineapple industry.On the basis of distributing survey questionnaires,conducting interviews,and consulting literature,this study analyzes the current development status of the pineapple industry in Xuwen County,identifies the problems that hinder its development,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions for the development of the pineapple industry in Xuwen County.The main research findings are as follows:Firstly,The results of questionnaire survey and field investigation indicate that in recent years,the planting area and output value of pineapple in Xuwen County have been continuously increasing,accounting for 61.78% and 57.35% of the total garden fruits in the county,respectively.There are nearly 30 pineapple processing enterprises with diversified processing products,but their added value is relatively low.Secondly,The PEST analysis results of the pineapple industry in Xuwen County indicate that the pineapple industry in Xuwen has received significant policy support,but still has not achieved ideal brand effects.At the technical level,the problems of a single variety,low proportion of high-quality varieties,and low level of planting mechanization in Xuwen’s pineapple industry have not been fundamentally solved.Most fruit farmers engage in "small workshops" production and operation.Thirdly,the logistic regression model analysis results show that there is a significant correlation between pineapple planting willingness and planting scale in Xuwen County.It indicates that small-scale planters will have a trend of being merged by large households in the future.There is also a strong correlation between planting income and planting scale,which predicts that small-scale farmers will have a strong willingness to switch industries when their income is much lower than that of mediumsized and large-scale farmers,while large-scale fruit farmers will generally continue to engage in the industry after their income stabilizes.Finally,The main problems in the development of pineapple industry in Xuwen County are the single planting variety,scarcity of high-quality varieties,insufficient brand advantages,outdated planting management technology,and low overall quality of practitioners.Based on investigation and analysis,the countermeasures for "breaking the situation" of the pineapple industry in Xuwen County are proposed as follows: in terms of policies,guided by the rural revitalization strategy,improve the local policy content system and policy execution mechanism;In terms of industrial development,we should give play to the leading role of leading enterprises,innovate management methods,select high-quality varieties,create brand effects,and promote the optimization and upgrading of pineapple industry with the help of the Internet platform.
