Morden Logisitic Management Applied In JMC'S Engine Warehouse

Modern enterprises have confronted more and more competing market. Multi kinds and small-scale demand has become the main theme of market development. Automobile manufactures are facing great challenge in both meeting customers' demand and controlling cost. Jiangling Motors co., Ltd. (Abr. JMC), which produces light business vehicles, is not exception. Enterprise inner logistic is basic management. High efficient logistic mechanism is good way to decrease the cost and enhance the core competition ability of companies. How to improve inner logistics management level and enhance the logistics operation efficiency and effect is the big problem for JMC. The writer has worked in Logistics department. At that time, JMC decided to improve logistic management of the enginge warehouse and build New Automatic Storage& Retrieval System (AS/RS) which take the place of old enginge warehouse. Based on that, that paper is written.First of all, this paper makes a simple introduction of JMC and it' s inner logistic situation. Then the paper makes detail description of the old warehouse and analyzes main problems. Through analysing JMC s present situation including its survival environment, strength and weakness, the writer points out it is necessary for JMC to apply modern logistics management to the engine warehouse. Based on this, the paper put up a good solution to slove these problems withmodern theory.Finally, the paper give some good suggestion for the JMC s logistics development in the future in-order to improve the level of JMC logistics management and create more value for JMC.
