As one of the most famous concept in management, Lean thinking has played a very important role not only in the area of production management, but also in many other areas. This article tries to apply Lean Thinking in the area of Human Resource Management. Now everyone knows that the human resource is the most precious resource in enterprises, if the enterprises can acquire the competitive predominance by human resource, the predominance can last longer and it is hard to be imitated. Manufacturing enterprises depend on all the staff more than other type of enterprises, and the most part of the staff are the skilled workers, who are very important in manufacturing enterprises.Whether the enterprises practice lean production or not, the workers with low makings and the poor management will become an obstacle for the growing of enterprises. So this article tries to research on t after introducing the background and the basic theories, at first the author summarized the new request for workers, which came from the lean production, and this part fixes on giving the correct value of the killed worker. Then at the third part of the article, the author explains why the innovation has became inevitable and gives out the innovative part of the article—how to apply Lean thinking to change the management of the workers, and at this part we also use the model of innovation and the theory of iceberg to explain the phenomenon in the innovation. At the forth part, this article emphasizes to find out "muda" in the management of the skilled workers by the questionnaire and the interview on spot. At last this article gives some advises to eliminate "muda".
