Applied Study On Project Risk Management Technologies For Power Generation Equipment Manufacturing

As special industry, the power generation equipment manufacture industry faces great risk under the influence from the governmental policies, economic environment and clients quality, as well as the risk due to the feature of the industry itself, such as long production cycle and heavy investment. To control the production under project management system, to enhance the risk management consciousness and design specific tool become one urgent problem to solve.On the basis of modern risk management theory and characteristics of power generation equipment industry, the article indentifies and categories the risk, then provides a mechanism, including evaluation, forecast and warning of risks. On the basis of analyzing cases in China, the article provides risk evaluation and warning mechanismmodel.The study provides a guidance to the risk management of the industry, so as to enhance the efficiency of the project management personnel, gain extra value from the risk management and prevent potential loss.
