| Due to its own characteristics of the main-equipment manufacturing project of large power, they always involve wide range of stakeholders, own long delivery cycle, apply complex technologies, invest huge capital, and are high correlated with both governmental macro-policy and legal regulations. Once the risks occur in these projects, there will be formidable negative impacts on project execution, even on the whole enterprise business,so the project risk management is very necessary.Through introducing the risk management theory and risk management process, and based on the characteristics of project management in the power plant main-equipments manufacturing industry, our research focus on the risk identification and evaluation. In this dissertation, we first conducted quantitative evaluation of main risk in these projects, by applying analytic hierarchy process. Then, we tried to convert present empirical process into quantitative and standard process to manage the risk in power equipment manufacturing projects, by applying appropriate risk identification and evaluation methods, which could also provide efficient solutions for future risk management practice.Besides, by absorbing good experience in power plant industry, this dissertation presents corresponding measures to deal with the main risks existing in the equipment manufacturing projects. We establish a system of risk response procedures and set key points and benchmark of risk control. |
