Improvement On The Method Of Technology Maturity Of Product

In the ever-changing technology market today, it is important to consider a comprehensive integration and study a more in line with the realities of the technology maturity of product prediction model, and it is the main objective of the research. Technology maturity of product is an important factor in measuring technological capability of a corporation,and technology maturity forecasting of product has become a hot spot in business circle and academia. However, the studies focus on the maturity of military special products, or on the life cycle curve of patent application. Rarely consider the evolution of technology maturity of product in the process of interaction between products and product factors; neither of the hidden information in patent citation relations. First, based on the analysis of the current situation, this paper summarized four major categories for analyzing the technology maturity of product, and indicates the shortage of existing research methods and proposed improvement. Then put forward patent citation analysis based on the patent analysis, and bibliometrics combination of system dynamics based on bibliometrics to analysis technology maturity of product. Second, two improved methods were introduced; the characteristics and the feasibility of the improved methods for technical maturity of product were studied. On this basis, software and analysis procedures were describes, and for empirical analysis of semiconductor chip technology and valve technology. Third, the maturity of both product technology and practical conclusions were already cases of information and research data was verified by comparing the two methods improved the feasibility and credibility. Finally, existing methods and improved methods of analysis to do a simple comparative analysis, respectively, data sources from a variety of methods, and applications use to compare.The prediction results based on the combination use of system dynamics and Bibliometrics, contribute to the technology decision-makers to have a better grasp of the technology development trend, because of its operability, it can be provided a strong support to decision-makers to make strategic choice as well.
