Study On The Improvement Of Drug Safety Regulation

Drug, whose safety has been a major concern of governments all over the world, is a kind of special commodity which is directly related with the public's physical health and life safety. In recent years, a series of drug security events appeared continuously in our country, which caused public's strong doubt and criticism on the current situation of the drug safety, the drug regulating department and the existing control system. The important issue of the currently government's control of the drug safety is how to ensure the publics to use drug safely.Under such condition, this paper starts with elaborating the basic theory of government control and concludes the research achievement of the government control of drug safety. Being related with the current condition of government control of drug safety, the paper analyzed and concluded serious problems existing in the system of drug control's law, regulation, responsibility and circulation in our country.To solve the above problems, the paper adopted some methods such as, documents study, investigation and comparative study and borrowed some measures on the government's drug safety control from America and European Union to analyze the current condition and existing problems of our government's drug safety control. Then the paper proposed some principles to improve the government's drug safety control in our country and a series of strategies:firstly, the construction of drug control system has to be strengthen; secondly, accelerate the reform of drug control system; thirdly, improve the construction of responsibility system of drug safety; fourthly, reform the control of drug price and solve the problem of high-price drug; finally, reform the control of drug advertisement and prevent the behavior of deceiving consumers.
