| From the mid-90s, the Government has made public many revitalization policies of China's steel industry to guide the rapid development of China's steel industry, and in recent decades, steel production of China has kept a rapid growth speed, which laid an important foundation helping us to gain a position in the world steel industry. However, in 2008, the whole world suffered a terrible financial crisis, and starting from the real estate industry, the world's major industries have themselves in financial difficulties, and then Western protectionism occurred which made a bad affecting to many Chinese industries. All these factors ultimately lead to a big falling of our steel exports and domestic overcapacity situation.Based on this situation and making the use of business process reengineering theory and model, this article studies how to imply business process reengineering in the current sales system of China's steel enterprises so as to improve the operation level of sales and provide favorable survival and development conditions for our steel enterprises. This research process can be divided in four parts. First, considering domestic and international steel industry market status, we'll find out difficulties and problems which our steel enterprises face at this stage, and point out the necessity of implement of BPR. Second, we'll discuss the theoretical method used in this paper, make analysis and comparison of the modeling methods in common use for this research field. Third, we'll analyze the current business process in sales system of domestic steel enterprise, find out problems in selling part of business processes and identify three important business processes in sales system of our steel enterprise, and then we'll describe the function of the processes by using IDEF0 modeling method. The last, according to the actual distribution system in some steel company, we will implement business process reengineering to test the feasibility of the method. |
