Study On Performance Evaluation Of Agricultural Virtual Enterprises

With the central government paying more attention to the agriculture recently, the reform of agricultural organization mode has been put on the agenda. At the same time, with the maturity of the virtual enterprise theory, the concept of agricultural virtual enterprise appears. Agricultural virtual enterprise is the extension of virtual enterprise theory in agriculture field. It will be possible to keep the sustainable development of agricultural production by integrating resources and improving efficiency. This new mode of agricultural operation provides a new idea for the agriculture development and will promote the transformation of agriculture development mode.Performance evaluation of agricultural virtual enterprise is an important part in agricultural virtual enterprise management. A perfect performance evaluation system not only will benefit efficiency evaluation of agricultural virtual enterprise operation but also will determine the strategy realization of agricultural virtual enterprise.To start with the introduction of virtual enterprise, this paper provides the definition and conceptual model of agricultural virtual enterprise, analyses the different methods of performance evaluation. In addition this paper provides a performance evaluation system for agricultural virtual enterprise on the basis of EVA and BSC and contributes an idea for integrating EVA and BSC in evaluation. At last, a designed case is adopted to display the whole process of performance evaluation.This paper mainly discusses agricultural virtual enterprise and its performance evaluation, which enriches the theory of virtual enterprise. Meanwhile, the simulated case study shows that the system of performance evaluation is practicable and will play a role in the reform of agriculture operation mode.
