Tourism is a major industry in today's world, since reforming and opening to the outside world, Chinese tourism industry is developing rapidly at an unprecedented speed, It has made brilliant achievements in the tourism industry and play a more and more important role in the national economy growing ,Among them, the tourist souvenirs income is an important part of tourism income, but also the development of tourism signs of maturity. Therefore, the tourism industry pays more and more attention to the development of tourism souvenirs, but there is little study on tourism souvenirs in Xinjiang province and also not deep enough, this paper will have a systemic study about tourist souvenirs market in Xinjiang and presented the development strategies of tourism souvenirs in Xinjiang.The basic concepts and achievements of this paper as to the market and development of tourism souvenirs in Xinjiang are mainly summarized as follows.(1)The definitions and categorization of the tourism merchandise and tourism souvenir are reanalyzed to sum up that discussed the basic theories about tourism souvenirs.(2) Described and compared the current situation of the Xinjiang tourist souvenirs market , analyzed the differences and contact between the regional tourism destination, followed by questionnaire survey of Xinjiang tourist souvenirs purchase behavior analysis.(3) Use induction and deduction method to analysis on the edge of Tourism Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and threat, so as to formulate development strategies provide the basis for tourist souvenirs.(4) The evaluation index system of tourism souvenirs has been constructed from the perspective of tourists on the basis of analysis, and selected four representative tourist souvenirs of Xinjiang to be evaluated.(5) Based on the comprehensive analysis of market overview and situation of tourism souvenirs in Xinjiang , from the design, production, marketing and security measures aspects to describes the development strategies of tourism souvenirs in Xinjiang.This paper studies the development strategies of tourism souvenirs in the hope that provide a basis and reference for relevant departments to formulate policies and promote the development of tourism and tourism souvenir market in Xinjiang,and To provide guidance for Souvenirs manufacturers and sales enterprises.At the same time,I hope the methods and experience summed up in this article could be used as reference to the development of tourism souvenirs in other areas.
