Research On Tourism Resources Characteristics And Protective Exploitation Of Shanghai Historical Districts

The new development goal of the Shanghai tourism is to be one of the famous tourist cities in the world. As is known to all, Shanghai tourism has to been combined with the historical human, and made its traditional characteristics and regional culture to be the urban characteristic resources, thus has the opportunity to become on of the international metropolis culture tourism destinations and to attract more tourists. Shanghai, as a famous historical and cultural city, most of its human landscape and historic scenic spot all gathers in the historical districts. How to protect and utilize these tourist resources have become the hotspot people focus on. In this paper, the research object of is to select 12 historical and cultural areas of the Shanghai city center, and to conduct the field survey on the tourism resources within these areas according to national standards of the People's Republic of China《The tourism resources classification, investigation and evaluation》(GB/T 18972-2003). In the end, the author mastered characteristic in the aspects of the tourism resource types, quality, spatial distribution, architecture, culture and environment source type. There is a big development potential in these 12 areas, because it has 220 resources monomers with the density of 8.16 per square kilometers, and the five star natural resources, four star natural resources, three star natural resources and the excellent level natural resources occupies 13.64%,33.64%,36.36% and 83.64% respectively. Moreover, there are 27 basic types in the aspect of the tourism resource, and all of them belong to the culture tourism resources, except the sightseeing river. Moreover, there are 84 Residences of Notables and Historical monuments in the scenic resorts, which occupy the biggest proportion.This paper applies the relevant viewpoints about the capital city culture and the organic update theory, and then combines with the experience of urban renaissance history in Philadelphia and restoration of historic districts in Macao and ensures the principle of protective development of the tourism resource in the aspect of the Shanghai historical districts, which is known as the integrated principle, original principle, sustainable principle and classification development principle as a result. In addition, this paper chooses statistics including the tourism resources monomer numbers, density, basic type quantity, numbers of excellent level resources, excellent level proportion and the protective building numbers, and analyzes the main ingredients by SPSS in order to divide three priority level of the tourism development according to the comprehensive evaluation indexes of each historical and cultural areas. On this basis, the author also ensured the function zone including the sightseeing tourism, leisure business and historic living according to the historical cultural situation and the tourism resource survey results of the historical districts. In the end, the author put forward recommendations about the protective development in the aspects of the peoples'cultural awareness in the process of the development, the degree of the publics' participation, the construction of the pedestrian system and the utility of the cultural relics.
