The Competitiveness Evaluation Model And Empirical Research On Urban Agglomeration Of China

With economic globalization and regional economic integration, the urban agglomeration and urban agglomeration competitiveness has gradually become a hot issues. The urban agglomeration not only has the advantage of gathering resources, but also become a new driving force for regional economic development by the of influence local political, cultural and economic center.Today,More and more scholars and experts consider urban agglomeration as a unit, a new pattern of regional economic is built.Urban Competitiveness is not only an important Urban part of urban agglomeration study, but also a new regional economic research of contemporary topics. Different from urban competitiveness research, the Research object of urban agglomeration competitiveness expanded to urban agglomeration. It plays a vital role on the regional economic development. It not only helps speed up the elements gathered in the city and in the group, promote industrial integration within the group, but also has a strong role and drive the effect of radiation on the surrounding area.In this paper, we use theoretical and empirical analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis and document analysis to research. We build a competitive evaluation model of urban agglomeration Cities through the analysis of the impact of competitive factors and access to a large number of relevant documents. And then we Choose developed Yangtze River Delta city group, the Pearl River Delta city group, and Beijing, Tianjin city group as data samples. Use SPSS software to do principal component analysis, and then determine the weight of all the main components to obtain the competitiveness model of urban agglomeration in China.Finally, we use the model to do empirical analysis. Find individual indicators and the overall competitiveness score of the four major urban agglomerations. We choose Yangtze River Delta city group, the Pearl River Delta city group, and Beijing, Tianjin city group as reference, and do comparative analysis on the current urban agglomeration Hot spots-the competitiveness of the Yangtze River Cities, and proposed countermeasures and suggestions to enhance their competitiveness. Finally we puts forward the countermeasures and Suggestions o improve the competitiveness of Yangtze River City Group.This thesis mainly divided into three parts:In the first chapter, we define the urban competitiveness, and then the do literature review from theoretical basis of urban competitiveness evaluation and Current research at home and abroad. In the second chapter, we built an competitiveness evaluation index system of urban agglomeration. On the basis of the influence factors analysis of urban competitiveness, according to the building principles of urban competitiveness model,, summarizes the existing research, we build a evaluation index system. This system include the economic strength of urban agglomeration, industrial structure level, infrastructure status, technological and cultural level, the Open wider to the outside five dimensions, and each index set up three or more secondary indexes.The third part is empirical analysis of Yangtze river Cities. We Select raw data according to China's Statistical yearbook,choose Yang tze River Delta city group, the Pearl River Delta city group, and Beijing, Tianjin city group as data samples as reference, usie principal component analysis,do comparison and analysis on Yangtze river Cities. Based on the results of the analysis, we put forward countermeasure and the suggestion to the promote the urban competitiveness of Yangtze river Cities.
