Modern education, including senior vocational education, attaches importance to both the combination of unity and diversification in fostering students. The state uniform textbooks pay more attention to the fundamental quality in school students and the unity of education as well, so it is impossible to take the real situations of different districts and schools into full account. As a result,they leave school-based textbooks with comparatively large space to satisfy the diverse needs of society, and can make it possible for schools to exert more influence in this field. The complement of the state uniform textbooks and the school-based textbooks can meet better needs of social personnel training. And it makes the school education to provide better service to the society.Through the study of school-based theory and combining the fact of students,specialty and school, we developed a school-based teaching material of"International trade geography". It suits to the first grade students of our school. In order to improve the students'interest and stand their belief, I use some studies to analyze the teaching methods of the"International trade geography"school-based teaching material.The paper includes six chapters:Chapter 1:"the theory summary of school-based teaching material development"is to grasp the scope of the theory foundation of school-based teaching material development.Chapter 2:"the background of the International trade geography school-based teaching material development"focuses on finding the problems in using the present International trade geography textbook and suggesting developing the International trade geography school-based teaching material through questionnaire survey and interview.Chapter 3:"the target of the International trade geography school-based teaching material"focuses on how to establish the target of the International trade geography school-based teaching material through analyzing the results of questionnaire survey and interview.Chapter 4:"structure the International trade geography school-based teaching material"is structured the contents based on the choosing principles of the school-based teaching material.Chapter 5:"the case study of the International trade geography school-based teaching material teaching methods"is to study and analyzing the teaching methods of the International trade geography school-based teaching material.Chapter 6:"Conclusions"lists the main conclusions and some personal suggestions.
