The Urbanization Development Strategy Of Hubei Province With Thinking Of Choice

As an important aspect of urbanization development research, in recent years urbanization development model has been a research focus. Centred on the urbanization development model, This paper analyzes this issue from some different dimensions, such as the industry, population, transportation and other aspects.This paper analyzes the urbanization's speed, quality of Hubei Province through selecting 2001-2010 years' Statistical Yearbook and related socio-economic data by the indexes such as the population, industry, engel's coefficient of hubei province.Meanwhile, this paper studies the features of urban distribution in hubei province by using ArcGIS software.The paper mainly includes the following five parts:Part I:Introduction. This paper describes the recent studies of urbanization theory and dynamic development in order to determine the framework and methods of this paper.Part II:The comparison of urbanization development patterns both at home and abroad. Taking the global space as dimension, the time as axes, this paper reviews and discusses the different paths and models of urbanization development. It also studies the development of urbanization in all countries experience and lessons learned under different conditions. At the same time,this paper analyzes the development model of urbanization on different stages taking the modes of Shenzhen and Chongqing as examples.Part III:The urbanization development process and characteristics of Hubei province. Taking Hubei Province as the research object, this paper comparatively analyzes the development stage, speed, quality, the urban economic and industry of urbanization in Hubei Province. We found huge differences between urban and rural development. At last, we use ArcGIS to draw and analyze urban space of Hubei Province, and we found that the density of southeast in Hubei Province is thick, while the northwest part is sparse,and the plains have more urban than the mountain.At the same time,the distribution of urban population in Hubei Province is uneven and urban mainly locate on traffic lines.Part IV:The main issues of urbanization development in Hubei Province.Through the above analysis, we found that the rate of urbanization in Hubei Province is in the continuous improvement, but the overall level is low, and there is a huge difference between urban and rural areas.The cities continued to expand, but the cities themselves have endless internal problems;the poor endowment of rural space has been widening the gap between the cities.According to the previous part of the analysis and conclusions, this study draws the mode of urbanization development in Hubei Province and makes a few suggestions about how to realize the healthy and orderly development of the future urbanization in Hubei Province.Part V:Drawing some conclusions and looking to the future development of urbanization in Hubei Province.
