The Study On The Construction Of Service Order Shared Service Center In Region A Of Enterprise E

Shared Service Center, generated in late of 1990s, is a new innovation of management method, which is driven by cost efficiency, based on organizational scale and caused by information technology and economy development.The competition between enterprises is more intensive in the market deterioration caused by global economic crisis. Any incaution could lead to a failure. In such a environment, enterprises must extend the focus of competition from the core business to non-core domain, integrating resources, optimizing operation mechanism, using the scale effect, to improve the value of overall enterprise's chain of value, enhancing enterprise's competitive advantages.Region A of enterprise E includes six market units, and each market unit has its own service orders management functions. However, in general, due to the scattered layout and management, the service order management is in various function and service level. Large-scale operation and professional operation is the development direction of order management. That's also the main topic of this paper.Regarding the service order management of Region A of enterprise E as the research object, we propose the concept of Service Order Shared Service Center and establish a perfect SOSSC frame system, and then describe the implementation process and control methods in detail, through analyzing the service order entry process, functions, workload and value, etc.The research result brings Region A of Enterprise E great advantages, organization streamline, process optimization, efficiency improvement, cost reduction, incremental value, and competitiveness enhancement. The research result could also provide ideas and experiences on strengthen competitiveness and reduce management costs for the large enterprises. It also has significance for enterprise to solve the non-core domain management issues.
