PMBOK In Building Construction Project Management Research And Application

In recent years, the sharp increase in building construction projects makes competition within the construction industry increased. At the same time, the scale of modern construction projects becomes bigger, construction technology becomes more complex and quality standards become increasingly stringent. Construction market and construction projects which demonstrate the characteristics request the construction enterprises to have a higher level of management. Therefore, under the actual situation of construction project management, the establishment of effective construction project management system is a very important research topic.This paper which stood in the construction business perspective, using both theoretical and practical research methods, made a more in-depth analysis and discussion on building construction project management system. The main work contents and results are as follows:1. By reading literature and absorption, reviewed and summarized the main points of PMBOK, then laid the theoretical basis for the study of construction project management.2. On the base of construction project characteristics and the thought of PMBOK, with the regulations of our new, established a framework for construction project management system, that including three aspects:construction project life cycle, construction project management procedures and construction project management elements.3. In reference to the actual construction project management methods and management experience, with the main line of the construction project life cycle, made an application analysis on the construction project system framework, described the general construction project management processes, and explained how to make key elements of construction project management.
