COV Purchasing Research Under Supply Chain Environment

With the globalization of World Economy, the competition between companies expands to other countries. The competition is not only the product competition, but also the efficiency of supplier chain. Facing the pressure that the profit of product is lowering down, the companies have to manage to lower the operating cost while improving the supply chain efficiency, to enhance the company's competitiveness.Optimizing the purchasing mode is the first step to enhance the company's supply chain efficiency, better purchase price, better lead time, better service, better quality and better technical support, all these contribute to improve the competitiveness of supply chain. This paper is intended to conduct the research and analysis on how to build the purchasing organization and purchasing management mode to optimize the supply chain structure.This paper firstly introduces the theory of purchasing and supply chain management, comparing the traditional purchasing management mode with the purchasing mode under supply chain management environment. Then the paper analyzes the main purchasing mode with its features, main purchasing organization structure with its applicable business objectives, main inventory mode with its advantages and. disadvantages, supplier assessment and performance management. Finally taking the COV case as an example, the paper analyzes the current situation and problems within COV. Base on the research stated above and the medical industry features and product characteristics, the paper finally proposes a series of advices optimizing the COV purchasing organization and purchasing management system, aiming to enhance COV's supply chain competitiveness.
