This paper, bases on the cases of five groups of companies, which all famous in domestic or abroad, studies the problem of stability in non-competitive strategic alliances. In fact, the problem of stability is the problem of choosing the appropriate partner and managing strategic alliance relationships. We find that in order to ensure the stability of non-competitive strategic alliances partners should eliminate the traditional thinking of complementary in function, but focus on similar target groups and corporate culture before alliance. During the alliance, they should focus on integration of the similar corporate culture and the pursuit of the harmony on the users experience. On this basis, the paper further discusses the key why the non-competitive strategy alliance is more stable than traditional strategy alliance lies in the non-competitive strategy alliance broke downstream industry, focus on the common consumer demands, uses manner of chain embedded or cultural embedded to pursue alliances in various sectors of the value chain. It not only improves competitive advantage, but also achieves the value appreciation.This paper consists of six parts. The first part is the introduction. This part mainly analyzes the necessity of this research, reveals the background and significance of this research, expounds the contents and research methods and points out the innovations and shortages, and defines some concepts. The second part is the literature review and theoretical basis. This part summarizes the literature on the theories of non-competitive strategic alliance and stability of alliance, reviews the theories of transaction cost, resource dependency, joint marketing and the symbiotic, and points the deficiencies of previous research. The third part is the cases introduction of the five groups of companies. This part explains case selection criteria and introduces the basic situation of the non-competitive strategic alliance of these five groups of companies. The fourth part summarizes the differences in partner selection and structure creation between traditional and non-competitive strategic alliance. It also points the shortages of non-competitive strategic alliance. On the basis of the fourth part, the fifth part constructs the non-competitive model and thoroughly discusses the relationships between the traditional and non-competitive strategic alliance and the key factors influencing stability. The sixth part is the conclusion of the paper.This paper firstly takes stability in the perspective of non-competitive strategic alliance, breaks through studying stability in isolation in the context of cooperation and competition of traditional strategic alliance, and summarizes how to achieve and maintain the stability of non-competitive strategic alliance .The paper provides a new idea for objectively understanding the stability of alliance.
