Research On Constraints Of Export Trade Flows Of Chinese Citrus Fruit

Citrus fruit are numerous in variety, nutritious, which called one of the world's most nutritional value fruit. China can be called the world's biggest citrus fruit producer, however, can not be called the power export country. There are multiple factors restricting the flows of exports of Chinese citrus fruits, and these factors obstacles export development of Chinese citrus fruit. Therefore, on the basis of empirical research on constraints of export trade flows of citrus fruit, to make sure the influence degree of these constraints and propose reasonable and practical measures, that will brings great theoretical and practical significance at filling up the shortage of domestic field of researches, improving the export trade flows of Chinese citrus fruit and promoting the vigorous development of export trade of Chinese citrus fruit.This paper uses the methods of comparative analysis and building economic model, and applies the theory of relative trade advantage, comparative advantage and the statistical measure of Trade Gravity Equation, basing on various data, from three points of views:product structure and market structure; trade competitiveness; four constraints factors between China and its major trading partners on citrus fruit export trade, to do an empirical research on constraints of trade flows of citrus fruit, and clearly to definite that unreasonable product structure and market structure, the weak trade competitiveness and four constraints factors between China and its major trade partners on citrus fruit influence export trade flows of Chinese citrus fruit and make a detailed analysis of its theoretical meaning and practical significance.This Paper is divided into six chapters according to its logical order. Chapter one, Introduction, describes the background, purpose and significance of the research, and reviews its research profile at home and abroad, describes the methods and technological line, and discusses research content and innovations; Chapter two discusses the structure of export trade of Chinese citrus fruit and focuses on breed structure of citrus fruit and the main geographical flows. Chapter three researches constraints of export trade flows of citrus fruit from the angle of breed structure and market structure. By analyzing breed structure of the world's citrus fruit, trade structure of the major citrus fruit exporter and demand structure of the major citrus fruit importer, combining with China's trade structure to determine if the breed structure and market structure of Chinese citrus fruit are reasonable, and to determine unreasonable breed structure and market structure will restrict export flows of Chinese citrus fruit. Chapter four researches constraints of export trade flows of citrus fruit from the angle of trade competitiveness. It makes a contrast about the different competitive power between China and Spain, the United States and South Africa, and contrasts the RTA, RCA, and market share of the importing country of China and these three countries. Therefore, it determines that trade competitiveness will restrict export flows of Chinese citrus fruit. Chapter five researches constraints of export trade flows of citrus fruit from the angle of partnership. It discusses the constraints of export trade flows of Chinese citrus fruit by constructing Trade Gravity Equation to determine which factors between China and its trade partner countries(or regions)restrict trade flows of Chinese citrus fruit and their degrees of influence. Chapter six gives some reasonable advices and proposals on improving trade flows of Chinese citrus fruit, and elaborates further research ideas.
