As petrochemical equipment are increasingly large-scale, high speed,automatic, intelligent, once the equipment failure, it is likely to result in seriousaccidents. The equipment failure will not only affect productivity, but also wouldlead to significant economic losses, and may even endanger the safety of life andproperty, caused extremely serious consequences. In order to effectively andrationally allocate maintenance resources, research new maintenancemanagement is imperative. Reliability Centered maintenance (RCM) methodhas been maturely applied in the field of aviation, weapons and other field.However, the RCM technology application of domestic petrochemical plant inmaintenance and management aspects is still in its infancy, many problemsremain to be solved. Summed main problems and solutions of petrochemicalplant applications in RCM will better guide the development of RCM inpetrochemical equipment.Firstly, based on the above background, this paper summarized theexperience (Including experience about data, model and relevance betweensoftwares)for RCM application in the field of aerospace, weapons and otherfield. We would put these experiences into petrochemical fields to solvepetrochemical plants application problems about RCM. Corresponding to eachof the major application problems of petrochemical plant in RCM, we proposedcorresponding solutions and experience, and drew a table to easy viewing.Secondly, for the issue (including the organization and managementproblems in RCM implementation process) of implementing RCM decisions inpetrochemical enterprises, we focused on summarizing sources of outstanding issues. Then, corresponding to each of the major implement problems ofpetrochemical plant in RCM, we proposed corresponding solutions andexperience, and drew a table to easy viewing to better prepare for theimplementation of RCM.Again, on the basis of summarizing the traditional optimization model of,we developed new optimization model of maintenance period, which was usedMonte Carlo method, and which was based safety and economy. What’s more,we used examples to illustrate the practical and convenience of the new model,and compared with the traditional maintenance period optimization model.Toprepare for the later development of RCM analysis system.Finally, according to the RCM outstanding issues in the process ofapplication and implementation, we developed of RCM maintenance taskanalysis system. The system function could reflect the solutions of applicationand implementation issues, which was previously summarized. This system isused VB and Matlab language program, and its core contents include logicanalysis and calculation of the maintenance cycle. Traditional logic analysismodel and maintenance cycle optimization model contained within the system,and the system is assigned to the model of intelligent interface, so you canmanually enter the initial value, and then output maintenance strategy ormaintenance cycle through a simple operation. On the basis of the traditionalRCM logic analysis model and cycle calculation model, the system can also becustom logic analysis model and the maintenance cycle optimization modelbased on the actual situation, greatly enhancing applicability for different partsof the device.
