With the development of petrochemical equipment manufacturing industry towards global-ization, intelligence, networking and service, it has become increasingly demanding on the petrochemical equipment reliability. in this paper, the computer aided failure analysis system of petrochemical equipment based on the internet, is designed and developed by using the network programming technology, database technology, artificial intelligence technology, the system makes the different users in different regions using different tools to access and use it come true, and provides failure analysis service and technical support for the safe and reliable operation of the petrochemical equipment at the same time.Studying a large number of the petrochemical equipment failure analysis typical cases, the failure analysis of case base subsystem is divided into three categories according to the failure form, equipment type and the type of material, and summarizes the main contents of case base subsystem database. According to the basic content and types, designing the database data form structure of the subsystem, plans the overall structure and completes the design and development of the case database subsystem.In the paper, sum up eight material testing project and related equipments and testing technology, determine the basic content of materials testing subsystem of the data base, design the structure of the database and the subsystem by combining with the practical application, and complete the material testing subsystem design and development.By analyzing the petrochemical equipment failure analysis of the common ideas and methods, and combining with the case-based reasoning technology roadmap (Case-Based Reasoning, referred to as CBR) and error back propagation neural network (referred to as the BP neural network),the model of CBR-BP neural network is proposed. Based on studying the failure analysis CBR-BP neural network model evaluation subsystem, establish the basic content of the database, design the structure of the data base and subsystem, and complete each module of the subsystem, achieve sub-online failure analysis and evaluation.
