Coal gas production process consists of four main parts: coal preparation systems, gassystems, purification systems, piping systems. Gas produced in the process is mainlycomposed of carbon monoxide, hydrogen, hydrogen sulfide and other poisonous, flammablegas composition. It easily lead to fire, explosion, poisoning and other accidents, to cause greatsocial impact and harm. Therefore, the coal gas process safety performance comprehensivesystem analysis, accurate identification of the production process security risks, proposeeffective preventive measures and recommendations, the safety analysis is a key processsystems with coal gas production enterprise security smoothly.This paper combines the characteristics of safety analysis methods and the actualproduction process, the results analyzed and compared using the HAZOP analysis mainly onthe gas generator, the purification process safety analysis. The main topic HAZOP analysismethod is to first select the appropriate step guide words, then the word will guide the actualprocess parameters obtained by combining the study of systems System meaningful deviation,find the existence of hidden system through variance analysis, and analysis of deviationsarising causes and consequences resulting from deviations occur. Dangerous deviationHAZOP analysis method utilizes the risk matrix was subjected to dangerous levels of division,to be its risk assessment index, and make recommendations measures and types. The maincontents of this paper include:(1) Describing several evaluation methods present research status that is now widelyused and the applicable range of conditions and processes for coal gas, through analysis andcomparison, select the HAZOP analysis of coal gas system safety analysis of performance,in-depth explanation of the entire paper HAZOP analysis methodology and its current breadthof applications in various industries.(2) Using the method HAZOP analysis, the coal gas process system is divided into thegas generation system, the occurrence of five node stage gas system, the upper gas system,intercooler and desulfurization system, and the system of the first node after detailed reasons,and consequences that may result from deviations occur for a detailed description of thesystem in five nodal analysis is completed, that the entire system with a comprehensiveunderstanding of security risks, and these risks have been analyzed reasons and risks broughtinto the consequences of the accident.(3) In this paper, the using of risk assessment and HAZOP analysis method of combining,the risk of bias HAZOP systems exist to identify, using a risk matrix to identify dangerousdeviation of the problems and determine the level of risk, and the analysis above Based on therecommendations put forward reasonable and feasible measures to prevent or eliminate thedanger present in the system, and to determine the type and the actual implementation of thepriority measures of the results of the analysis. (4) After the thesis of the coal gas process system into the matrix of HAZOP analysis andrisk analysis is complete, were found "furnace outlet temperature is too high" and "low levelwater jacket of" two dangerous deviations, respectively, for the its proposed priorities andmeasures for implementation of the proposed measures.The HAZOP analysis for the coal gas system, not only to identify the risks that exist inoperation, and confirm its risk level, put forward suggestions and recommendations type,provide a basis for reducing or eliminating the operation of the security issues, as ensuresmooth production safety has provided a guarantee.
