Low Carbon Life And Its Value Orientation: Ethics Research Of The Way Of Daily Life

What the value is like, what the mode of life and production will be like. Due tothe difference in mode of life and production, people’s way of pursuing happiness andthe level of their satisfaction vary from one to another. And the mode of productionalways decides its moral support. The development of the society is based on thehigh-carbon mode of life and production as well as the improvement of mankind.Human being immoderately grabs resources from the nature while dischargingcontaminants, which oversteps the nature’s limitation. And this will make the naturetake revenge to mankind, such as ecological deterioration, environment pollution,global warming etc, which will bring bad influence on human being’s living conditionand sustainable development, therefore, mankind begin to rethink their behaviors andsearch for new development mode, then the so called low-carbon style emerges. Todevelop this life style in human being’s daily life actually is the inner need of humanbeing’s self-development and self-redemption. Meanwhile, this low-carbon style isalso the specific reflection of the value dimension between mankind and the natureunder this multi-value modern society, and it is also the style which allows humanbeing and nature to coexist harmoniously.This thesis takes the low–carbon life style as its researching object, and regardsthe low-carbon style as one of the manners of human being’s daily life, in which theanalysis will be committed from the perspective of ethics. At first, this thesisreviewed the past high-carbon life mode, and then explains how the industrialcivilization and technology progress will affect mankind. What’smore, the thesis also shows how people country and the make choice cautiouslyon high-carbon life style below the living crisis caused by this mode. At the same time,this thesis also analyzes the conflicts among economy improvement, social progressand environmental protection from the aspects of economic, social development,ecocrisis. Besides, the thesis takes a moral review on the high-carbon mode from theperspectives of the human-centered notion, the limitation of economic increase andthe control on human being’s passions. Secondly, this thesis tries to date back the source of low-carbon life mode， also tries to find its moral basic， and its value.At last, this thesis will suggest the way of practicing low-carbon mode and also willmention the importance of establish low carbon mode. Meanwhile, how to bring upthe cultural atmosphere of low–carbon mode, people’s ethical duties, theinternational cooperation and the role of the government will be also informedbecause this mode is an effective method to realize the continuous development ofhuman beings. In order to get this, the thesis will also advise to use the low-carbonethics to guide our life, to build green ecology, to commit the justice ofenvironmental protection and to accelerate the peaceful, harmonious developmentamong mankind, nature, society and people.
