With the continuous development of GIS technology, many industries of high efficiency work requires the support of GIS. For the work of weather derivatives of decision analysis and so on can be run through the application of GIS technology to make it more efficient, brings to the meteorological department and the service of decision-making departments for meteorological work in the higher quality of meteorological service, meet with visual display mode of expression of the practical need of meteorological decision.In building based on GIS technology and decision-making meteorological service product platform made by the object-oriented design ideas, using the GIS technology, database technology, adopted C/S framework, commonly used meteorological data for secondary processing, form for climate decision-making meteorological service products, and compared the products to be Shared. During the build process is mainly completed the following work:(1) set up a specialized database mids, decision-making services department at the provincial level in sichuan province for integration and using the meteorological data, provides a rich data source, become an important business decision service support database.(2) in the past can only use the surfer software drawing, the introduction of advanced GIS technology, to strengthen the geographic information and analysis of the meteorological information advantage, improve the meteorological department decision-making meteorological service products is scientific and practical.(3) improve the level of decision-making meteorological service products production intensification, in order to realize the standardized service products. Enhance service product visual level and quality, enrich the content of the product, improve the limitation of new products.(4) take the lead in the meteorological service information system developed by the China meteorological administration(English abbreviation MESIS) for the effective extension and secondary development and utilizationNow the good platform application in sichuan province meteorological administration decision-making departments at the provincial level, system application prospect is good, the late research results can be further applied to the two levels of city, county meteorological department.
