Vegetation And Its Distribution Pattern In Yin Moubtains

Yin Mountains located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, which is an important ecological barrier zone in northern China, also an important natural geographical boundaries, its ecological location is very important. In order to overall understand the Yinshan Mountains and the spatial distribution of vegetation, based on 195 plots investigation, drawing the following conclusions:1) Yin Mountains are rich in vegetation types, including coniferous forest, broadleaf forest, woodland, scrub, grassland, desert, meadow 7 vegetation type groups,11 vegetation types and 60 formations.We analysed the characteristics of each formations in Yin Mountains with coenology.Mainly analysed the Formation Platycladus orientalis and Formation Betula platyphylla, which are the most area of coniferous forest and broadleaf forest in Yin Mountains. Firstly, We reported in detail the following formations:Formation Stipa przewalskyi, Formation Bothriochloa ischaemum, Formation Convolvulus tragacanthoid.es, Formation Convolvulus gortschakovii, Formation Ulmus lamellose, Formation Tiliaceae mongolica, Formation Picea wilsonii, Formation Picea meyeri.2) Steep southern slope and relatively large height difference in Yin Mountains, which has a significant affect on water and heat distribution.Formation Amygdalus mongolica can be distributed to the dry sunny slope of Wuyi Reservoir in Daqing Mountain. Formation Convolvulus tragacanthoides can be distributed to Jiufeng Mountain. Formation Stipa klemenzii can be distributed to Hongshankou County. And Formation Bothriochloa ischaemum can be distributed from Manhan Mountain to Wula Mountain.3) Yin Mountains has a strong vertical distribution of vegetation distribution, the basic performance from the base to the summit is grassland-shrub-more completely,which expresses the northern temperate mountains’forest vegetation landscape features. Baced on the vegrtation of baseband, we devided Yin Mountains into 3 section. East section baseband is typical steppe, The main vegetations are forests, scrubs and grassland and all the hill with high vegetation coverage; the middle section baseband is desert steppe, The main vegetations are forests, scrubs and grassland, but the area of forests is reduced compared to the east section; the west section baseband is desert,witn lower vegetation coverage4) The vegetation in Yin Mountains has a obvious distribution characteristics along longitude, from east to west, both the types and band numbers are showed a decreasing trend. The performance characteristics of the eastern mountains area are more like the temperate forest vegetation distribution, and middle mountainous are more like the temperate grassland vegetation distribution area, the western part is characterized by temperate desert vegetation distribution.5) Yin Mountains diversity of plant communities along an altitudinal gradient and longitude exhibited regularly change. With the rise of altitude, an appropriate combination of tempeture and water, a diversity of communities increases, while (3 diversity showed a change in volatility. With the improvement of increased longitude, moisture conditions, a diversity of communities increases. By (3 diversity analysis, community species turnover rate was then inverted "V" shape change, and in the maximum at the Kundulun River (110° E). The results show the diversity of y diversity of mountains is decreased from east to west.
