Along with the rapid growth of the rapid development of the economy, population, unreasonable exploitation of natural resources for human, caused great pressure to the ecological environment of the regional ecological environment and global. At present, degradation, regional ecological environment, global warming and the extinction speed, decrease of biological diversity, has become a major issue of human society, serious impact on the survival and development of human beings. Therefore, an important task to achieve harmony between man and nature, sustainable development has become an urgent need to solve the problem of human. The Ebinur Lake Basin is located in the northwest inland arid area, the landscape types in the basin complex, rich diversity of species, has a strong sensitivity and the special significance of the evolution of the regional environment; in recent years, due to the impact of climate change, human activities and other factors, the death of a large area of natural vegetation, groundwater level decline, land desertification is becoming more and more increased. Under the influence of various factors, the ecological environment in the basin is becoming worse, a serious threat to regional economic, social and ecological environment of stability and development.The results of the study show that:(1) the patch type level, with lower spatial resolution, the patch density variation trend of MODIS and OLI images by calculating similarity, the patch density was decreased with the increase of particle size, are the first drop and then decreased slowly, MODIS data, particle size has plummeted trend before 150 m, 150-250 m showed a trend of decline rate is smaller in size; OLI data, showing the trend of decrease in 100 m, 100-250 m showed a trend of decline rate is smaller. The change trend of plaque area similar to the grain size change, in the process, in addition to individual class changes, smaller changes throughout the rest of the class. The overall trend of the MODIS image of the perimeter area fractal dimension is reduced; the overall trend of OLI image by calculating perimeter area fractal dimension into the flat state. Gather scatter index, edge density, plaque area, plaque area and type of grid size distribution is more concentrated, there is a certain type of land use individual scales of the abnormal phenomenon.(2)The landscape level as the particle size increases, the change trend of the landscape index of different remote sensing images shown in different forms, and the change trend of the landscape index among different differences also exist. With the increase of particle size, patch density, landscape shape index and the number of patches showed a monotonically decreasing trend; the largest patch index of uncertainty; the overall trend of Shannon’s diversity and evenness index of the relative stability of Shannon.(3)In the typical area of watershed landscape pattern analysis: selected is the landscape level index of high value areas are distributed in the oasis and the surrounding area, the first area of Ebinur Lake was divided in the index, which is the minimum; in a circle around the Ebinur Lake area is relatively high compared to values Lake, formed the contour of the Ebinur Lake "". The patch type level, 150 m, MODIS image, the low value area of cultivated land edge density(<17.64) is the most widely distributed, woodland and middle area of saline(17.65- 30.08) distribution range is larger, forest land and saline land where the landscape heterogeneity in the region is relatively large, which leads to the increase of edge density. The distribution range of OLI image in land, sandy land and saline land of high value are wide, the three kinds of land use types higher landscape heterogeneity. 200 m, MODIS and OLI two kinds of images of forest land, bare saline lake and the landscape shape index distribution is similar, but the distribution of its value is not the same.
