Research On The Key Technologies Of Tourism Thematic Mapping Based On Semantic

With the development of china economy, the tourism industry is booming, the use of tourism thematic map also grow with each passing day. With the progress of computer and geographic information technology,the tourism thematic mapping become more and more automation and specialization. These changes improved the tourism thematic mapping efficiency, but also increased the professional requirement for the cartographers. This is not conducive to reduce the difficulty of the tourism thematic mapping, at the same time it also limits the popularization of tourism thematic mapping process. So in this paper,with the analysis and discussion of the problems in the existing tourism thematic mapping mode and combine with related semantic theory and method, put forward one tourism thematic mapping model based on semantic. In order to improve the intelligent and automatic level of tourism thematic mapping progress, reduce the difficulty of mapping and further improve the efficiency of mapping.In this paper, based on the classification of tourism thematic maps, put forward the automatic retrieval and add the base map layers thought, matching different representation methods to the different thematic elements. According to the map server for the travel, on the basis of symbols and language the same for the expression of information tools,and the semantic information contained in the tourism symbols,automatic matching symbols on tourism entity by using the semantic analysis and semantic reasoning in it’s drawing progress. According to the map reflect the tourism planning and tourism management thought, calculate the semantic similarity between symbols and planning or management thought by using the cosine algorithm, then matching a suitable symbol to expression the tourism planning or management concept. According to the tourism map used to management and research, with more emphasis on the numerical analysis and statistics, in order to recommend a proper representation in it’s mapping progress, we construct the knowledge base by summarize the tourism thematic map’s representation methods, and use the production to make the semantic reasoning to help the cartographers know whichrepresentation method can be used. Finally, one tourism thematic mapping system based on semantic has been designed and implemented, it has verified the feasibility of the tourism thematic mapping model based on semantic.At the same time, the research work has done so far is been summarized, the existing problems 、shortcomings and the research prospects were also discussed in this paper.
