Since the ontology is introduced to the field of Geographic Information Science, research on geographic ontology has become an important direction. Ontology is composed of two parts: the concepts and relationships, domestic and foreign scholars research on these two aspects, and has made certain progress in all respects. At present, geo-ontology research is still limited in different fields, Wang Hong, Li Lin, et al,taken "Specifications for feature classification and codes of fundamental geographic information GB/T 13923-2006" as a concept domain, research on basic geographic information concept and relationships. Based the study of Li Lin and Wang Hong et al, this paper analysts and extracts the relationships between the geographic elements, and construct the query mechanism. The specific research contents and results are as follows:1) The type of relationship of geographic ontology, generally include: spatial semantic relations, time semantic relations and concept semantic relations, and these three kinds of semantic relations associated with each other. First of all, this paper introduces the basic relations of spatial semantic relations and semantic relations between concepts, and then the relationship between two relations were discussed.2) Based on national standard, enumerates the semantic relationship between the geographic elements. In the national standard, the geographical elements are organized hierarchically, according to subordinate relationship between them. This paper analyzes the semantic relationship of geographical factors in different layers or in the same layers, and constructs tables of the semantic relations between elements. And finally this paper extracts semantic relations commonly used as a basis for the following analysis.3) Based of spatial analysis, construct analysis arithmetic of semantic relations. Spatial characteristics is the fundamental difference of geographic information and general information, and because of the correlation between spatial semantic relations and concept semantic relations, by using spatial analysis we can analyze the spatial semantic relations and semantic relations. In this paper, based on GIS spatial analysis function module, using ArcGIS Engine, we construct analysis arithmetic of semantic relations.4) Semantic relationships query system of geographic ontology. In the semantic relationships query system of geographic ontology, when a user query of geographic features, the system can return not only the queried elements information the but also the information of the elements which are associate with queried elements. And System can query an object once, while also can query multiple objects at same time. Multi object queries, system would return relations between the objects.
