The Research Of Plant Communities’ Characteristics And Landscape Evaluation In Yanghu Wetland Park

Urban wetland park,integrating Protection,education and leisure,is a Wetland landscape-based park with high ecological and aesthetic value.As reform pilot area of the " two-orient society "approved by the state council,Changsha overwhelmingly supportbuilding urban wetland parks. Constructing the proper plant communities is the foundation of plant landscape construction,which is an important content of urban wetland parksconstruction.Plant landscape evaluation can also provide guidance on plant landscape construction.Based on detailed research development from home and abroad and consulting a great many references,This thesisconducted field surveys about 42 typical sample plots in Yanghu Wetland Park,Summarized the plant communities characters and then made up the evaluation mode of plant landscape in urban wetland parkwith the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process(AHP). Plant landscape was assessed by using the evaluation mode and got the the comprehensive evaluation score in Yanghu Wetland Park. According to the results of plant communities’ characteristics and landscape evaluation, Suggestions about construction and renovation of Plant landscape for Yanghu Wetland Park and the other Urban wetland park similar have been proposed.The specific results are listed as follow:In this paper,according to the fieldwork of plant communities in Yanghu Wetland Park,several traits have been found:There exists 224 plant species in 186 genera and 89 families and indigenous plants have a high proportion of the species which make regional features obvious. While the number of trees and aquatic plants is few and seriously lack of vines. The proportion of Evergreen and deciduous trees is imbalance.In the respects of ornamental characters,colour is rich and seasonal variation is obvious,but the ornamental fruit and branchplants ornamental plant in winter are not abundant. In the respects of plants’ quantitative features, arbor trees is scarce but concentrated while the shrubs are qually distributed. There are different figuration models but the complicated structure composed of arbors, brushes and grasses is the most common pattern. There is a difference in plant diversity in differentPlant communitieslayers and areas.After the investigation,problems of of plant communities in Yanghu Wetland Park were summarized as follows :imbalance of the ratio from tree, shrub and perennial and evergreen and deciduous plants,lack of ornamental fruit and branchplants and winter ornamental plants, not reasonable of some planting design and the low level of water cleanliness. Based on that, three improvement suggestions are proposed:achieving a harmonious balance of tree, shrub and perennial and evergreen and deciduous plants, applying more ornamental fruit and branchplants and winter ornamental plants, stressing plant care and management.This paper made up the evaluation mode of plant landscape in urban wetland park from ecological beauty,formal beauty space beauty and artistic conception beauty,with which plant landscape was assessed and got the the comprehensive evaluation score in Yanghu Wetland Park.According to assessment,the quality of plant landscape in Yanghu Wetland Park is at above the medium level,including 7 on grade □,19 on grade□,10 on grade□,6 on gradeⅣ. The quality of plant landscape are different according to the types of plant community structure and the complicated structure composed of arbors, brushes and grasses got the highest.The quality of plant landscape presented little relationships to therir habitats.This dissertation gave some improving advice about the plant landscape in Yanghu Wetland park from angles of ecology, formal,space and artistic conception.From the piont of ecology, it should be simulate the natural landscape other than seeking immediate results.From the piont of formal,it shouldtake collective beauty and individual beauty of plantsinto account, use the principle of the art building landscape, build beautiful skylines,From the piont of space, it should enrich the landscape level and build natural coastlines of plant landscape. From the piont of artistic conception,it should continue usingmethods of traditional waterscape design and emphasizeapplying properly the technique of empty space.
