A Study On The Changes Of Landscape Patterns In Pulandian Based On RS And GIS

As the rapid development of economy,the construction of city is more and more modernized.The construction makes the city’s structure changed and the land distribution is also changing.The uneven distribution of land is bound to affect the development of industry,agriculture and services,at the same time, it causes the ecological environment and people’s livelihood problems.The land apply is more and more nervous and the conflict with related strategy is also increasing intense.In recent years,as a coastal city at country-level of Dalian,the Pulandian city develops comprehensively in various aspects of the urban construction, the economy keeps a rapid,sustained,stable development tendency. But as the development of city and its economy,the landscape patterns of the Pulandian city has also changed.The research of land use classification becomes a more and more effective means in urban planning.This study use the Landsat TM image in 2000 and 2010 as data sources and the landscape ecology as the study theory.By using the RS and the GIS technology,the study analyses the changes of landscape patterns in Pulandian over the last decade.Finally,the research analyses the urbanization process of the city step by step,it is a progressive layers of the process.First,by using the multiple linear regression and the principal component analysis method,the study analyses the changes of landscape patterns’ influence on economy and urbanization.Second,the research analyses the driving force factors to cause the changes of landscape patterns.According to the actual situation,the study proposes the improved land structure solution and the direction of the development of economy.The results shows that:(1) The Pulandian city’s main landscape types are woodland,arable land and construction land.In ten years in general,the area of urban land,mariculture,paddy field is increasing, the area of woodland,reservoir arable land is decrease.The area of woodland has fallen down from 1459 km2 to 1146.36 km2 and the area of arable land has fallen down from 1196 km2 to889.04 km2.But the area of urban land has risen up from 373.13 km2 to 592.21 km2.It shows that human activities and the urban construction such as industrial development make the area of woodland and arable land greatly reduced,they degenerate seriously.(2) The GDP value of Pulandian and the L parameter of urbanization process are positively related to the area of urban construction but negatively related to the area of arable land,woodland and reservoir.For the improvement of economy,we should not only increasethe area of urban land and mariculture,keep the reservoir and paddy land a stable state, but also decrease the area of arable land.We should plan reasonably to improve the quality of arable land and maximize its yield.(3) The driving force factors of the changes of land use are:the urbanization index,the GDP per capita,the GDP value,the urban landscaping rate.The results can provide for the urban land management and planning departments to provide scientific decision.Social productivity,industry structure,science and population can be the four directions of research of driving force of the landscape pattern.
